This late-night event offers a rare opportunity to explore the long-renowned haunted theatre after hours, when the lights are low, the building is quiet, and the atmosphere begins to shift.

Haunted Theatre – A personal investigation

Running from 9:00pm until 2:00am, the investigation is designed to be fully interactive and inclusive. Participants are invited to take part in a range of investigative practices, including group vigils, séances, and table tipping, alongside the guided use of paranormal investigation equipment. There will also be free investigation time, allowing you to explore designated areas of the venue at your own pace while remaining supported by the team throughout the night.

This event is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience. No prior knowledge is required — just an open mind and a willingness to observe, listen, and reflect. The DAW Paranormal team prides itself on creating a calm, respectful, and grounded environment. There is no pressure to participate in anything you are uncomfortable with, and all activities are clearly explained before taking place.

Refreshments will be available throughout the night, providing a chance to pause, reflect, and discuss experiences with fellow participants. Group vigils offer moments of shared stillness, while smaller investigative sessions allow for focused observation and experimentation.

Why Cowes Trinity Theatre?

So you’re wondering why Trinity is said to be a haunted theatre. Well it could be because of the bloody footprints of a Blitz victim said to appear in the auditorium. Or the male ghost seen in the lighting box and ladies changing room. Maybe Madeline, the little girl who wanders around the auditorium and backstage and whose doll moves around the theatre. Then there are the ghostly, disembodied footsteps and other unexplained noises. And of course the reports of poltergeist activity….
