- 1 white candle (symbolizing purity and new beginnings)
- Anointing oil (like Frankincense or Cedar wood)
- A small piece of paper and pen
Steps:
- On the Winter Solstice night, anoint the gold and white candles with your chosen oil while visualising your intentions.
- Write a wish or goal on a piece of paper. Be clear and specific.
- Light the gold candle and say:
“As the sun returns to the earth, I welcome light into my life.

- A black candle
- A small bowl of salt
Steps:
- Create a sacred space and light the black candle, representing protection and the banishment of negativity.
- Place the salt in the center of your space, with the evergreen sprigs surrounding it in a circle.
- Hold your hands over the bowl. Now say:
“I call upon the guardians of the earth to protect me and my home.
